Chelsea Propose Huge Straight Swap Deal With Bayern Munich

Chelsea would like to engineer a straight swap deal with Bayern Munich, according to stunning reports.

The transfer rumour mill is in full flow ahead of the 2020/21 season, with the Blues linked with a host of new players.

From Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland to Juventus winger Federico Chiesa.

The club also plan to trim their squad, with Thomas Tuchel keen on offloading deadwood – including Callum Hudson-Odoi who is NOT in his plans for the upcoming campaign.

Tuchel is hoping to use Hudson-Odoi as makeweight for Kingsley Coman, with talks over a contract extension at Bayern at a standstill.

That’s according to French outlet L’Equipe (via Get French Football News) who claim Chelsea have offered Hudson-Odoi in a swap deal for Coman.

The Frenchman is contracted until 2023, but talks over a new deal have hit a brick wall – with the player wanting more than the £11 million-a-year the club have tabled.

As a result, the German champions have opened the door to the sale of Coman.

However, they want a staggering £77 million for the 25-year-old.

Manchester United looked at Coman before snapping up Jadon Sancho, with Manchester City and Liverpool also keeping an eye on his situation.

Though it appears Chelsea’s interest has more substance, with Tuchel hoping to secure his services by including Hudson-Odoi in a potential deal.

Of course, Bayern have previously expressed an interest in signing the England winger so they could be willing to listen to their offer.
