Juventus Have Already Identified Three Players To Replace Cristiano Ronaldo

Juventus have reportedly identified three huge names as potential replacements for Cristiano Ronaldo should he choose to leave.

Ronaldo has spent three years in Turin, and Juventus finished fourth last season, narrowly missing out on the Champions League.

It has caused the Portuguese superstar to rethink his future, with many speculating that he may depart when his contract expires in 2022.

According to Tuttosport per Marca, Juventus’ three-man shortlist for Ronaldo’s replacement comprises Gabriel Jesus, Mauro Icardi, and Dusan Vlahovic.

Jesus is presently at Manchester City, although he has yet to establish himself as the team’s top striker.

Sergio Aguero, who left the club to join Barcelona earlier this summer, has frequently relied on the Brazilian.

City have been linked with a high-profile transfer for Harry Kane, which might mark the end of Jesus’ tenure at the Etihad.

There’s no denying his enormous potential, and at the age of 24, he still has much left in the tank.

Icardi, who established his reputation at Inter Milan before joining Paris Saint-Germain, is a better recognisable figure to Serie A fans.

Icardi joined PSG on a permanent basis last season following a year on loan in Paris, but he has struggled to find his feet.

In Ligue 1, he scored seven goals while battling a variety of injuries.

Dusan Vlahovic is the list’s youngest player and by far the most intriguing if Juve decides to sign him.

Despite Fiorentina’s dismal season, in which they finished 13th, Vlahovic scored 21 goals in 37 games.

Last summer, Juventus signed Federico Chiesa from Fiorentina, and the teenager had a successful debut season at the Allianz Stadium.

Following Portugal’s elimination from Euro 2020, Ronaldo’s future is likely to be decided sooner rather than later.

On Sunday evening, Fernando Santos’ side lost 1-0 to Belgium, and Ronaldo cut a furious figure on the pitch both during and after the game.
