According to rumours, Sergio Ramos has been given a five-year contract by his old club Sevilla.
Real Madrid captain Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract at the Santiago Bernabeu expires on June 30, and he has been linked with moves to PSG and Manchester United.
However, Spanish publication El Primero Palo reported late yesterday night that the 35-year-old is courting heavy attention from his past employers.
It’s said that Sevilla’s proposal is for a total of five years, including the possibility of Ramos remaining at the club in a different capacity once he retires.

With Sevilla giving him a salary of €7 million per year, he would have to take a significant pay drop.
Ramos came up through Sevilla’s youth system before playing for the main squad for two seasons.
He moved to Real Madrid for €27 million in 2005, which was a world record for a Spanish player at the time.
He went on to become one of Real’s most successful defenders, appearing 671 times for the club over 16 seasons and winning 22 trophies, including five La Liga crowns and four Champions Leagues.
Despite the fact that Real and Ramos have yet to reach a deal, AS believes the long-serving Spain international will prolong his tenure in the city.
Ramos recently made headlines after it was alleged that he told Real players not to accept wage cuts since the money would only go to PSG and France’s Kylian Mbappe.
A host on the radio show El Transistor, José Ramón de la Morena, alleges that an anonymous player at Los Blancos has informed the club about Ramos’ questionable behaviour.
