Arsenal Will Listen To Transfer Offers For TEN Players Including Aubameyang

Arsenal are open to receiving offers for ten players including club captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as they look to generate some cash before the end of the transfer window, according to The Telegraph.

The North London club have had an extremely busy transfer window so far where they have spent approximately £129 million on new signings Nuno Tavares, Albert Sambi Lokongo, Ben White, Martin Odegaard and Aaron Ramsdale.

However, in the final weeks of the window, the Arsenal board are seemingly starting to focus their efforts on removing players from the squad.

One of the surprise names who appeared on this transfer list was Arsenal’s star striker Aubameyang who only recently signed a £250,000 a week contract with Arsenal in September 2020.

The Gabon international first featured for Arsenal this season on Sunday after testing positive for coronavirus before the team’s opening game against Brentford.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has reportedly approved that Arsenal look to sell Bernd Leno, Hector Bellerin, Sead Kolasinac, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Lucas Torreira, Willian, Reiss Nelson, Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette.

Whilst it may be possible for Arsenal to get rid of some players, Aubameyang will be far more difficult to sell due to his age and high wages.

After Arsenal’s 2-0 loss to Chelsea on Sunday, it marked the club’s worst start to a league season in their history.

Yet Arteta still remains positive, even though Arsenal’s next trip is away to Premier League champions Manchester City where they have had an abysmal record in recent seasons.

The Arsenal boss said: “We are trying to bring the players in that we can and that we can afford with the money. They can help us achieve what we want. But Chelsea will have a different plan.

“What I’m saying is that what we want to do with the club is bring it back to where it was.

“We are going to do that. The timing of it is a little bit more complicated than people think.

“But the only aim is to do that. The only aim tomorrow, and this season, and the following matches, is to win every single time and nothing else. Can we now achieve that as quickly as possible? That’s the only objective we have.”
