Kylian Mbappe could sign a pre-contract on January 1 and finally complete his blockbuster move away from Paris Saint-Germain.
Mbappe’s future at PSG has been clouded with uncertainty, with some of Europe’s elite clubs keeping tabs on his contract situation.
PSG are reluctant to sell their prized asset, but reports claim the phenom forward wants to leave.

The 22-year-old has his eyes on a switch to Real Madrid, but the La Liga giants have yet to make an official move because they know PSG won’t sell him this summer.
However, Le Parisien say Real are now waiting for January 1, 2022, so they can sign Mbappe on a pre-contract.
Of course, his PSG deal expires at the end of June 2022, paving the way for a mega free transfer.

Real appear to be the frontrunners to snap up Mbappe next summer, with Manchester United thought to be interested, too.
The Red Devils have reportedly added Mbappe to their transfer wish-list.

Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher, however, reckons Manchester City should pursue Mbappe if they fail to lure Harry Kane to the Eithad.
In his column for The Telegraph, he wrote: “City must have considered a Plan B in the event of Spurs refusing to sell Kane.
“There would be more value in trying to sign Kylian Mbappe for in excess of £100 million a year before his contract expires at PSG, for example.”
